Virtual Visit

The Niagara tourism and wine region has much to offer the discerning traveler. Backroads beckon cyclists, and we can suggest cycling routes which have low traffic and delightful scenery. The Inn is close to several natural areas of outstanding beauty for hikers. Niagara has dozens of excellent golf courses, and we can help guests arrange choice tee times. First-rate theatre, art studios,  galleries and winery tours are available to those who enjoy the finer things of life.

Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, Welland and Grimsby are all no more than a half-hour drive away.

Inn on the Twenty and On the Twenty Restaurant have an enviable position far enough away from tourist attractions to be a quiet retreat, and yet close enough to make for several days of convenient touring.

Here are a few suggestions of things to see and do in the Niagara area:

Ontario Wines from the Niagara Region, Inn on the Twenty serves an extensive list of fine wine from Cave Spring Cellars.

Niagara Region winery: Ontario’s Cave Spring Cellars is located just across the street from Inn on the Twenty.

Niagara Falls
What more need we say?  A must see year-round for all first-time Niagara visitors.
The Shaw Festival
From May to November, enjoy drama, music and comedy from Shaw and his contemporaries. One of North America's finest theatre companies in one of Ontario's prettiest towns.
Jordan Village
Jordan is a great find for the recreational shopper. The stores on our Main Street offer quality goods of many kinds: antiques (rustic Canadiana and fine European), Inuit art, accents and accessories for the home and garden, and designer clothing. Of course, Cave Spring Cellars is right at hand, too.
The Good Earth Cooking School
Enjoyable, informative cooking demonstration classes presented by the best chefs in the region. The focus is on comaraderie and on savouring the best of Niagara's bounty.
Butterfly Conservatory (Niagara Parks Commission)
Hundreds of free-flying butterflies and moths in a tropical greenhouse. Interpretive displays, nature store. Wheelchair accessible nature trail.
Waterfront Trail and Ball's Falls Conservation Area
Stairs lead down to the Twenty Mile Creek and a woodland trail to Ball's Falls. This nature area has pioneer buildings and, as one would expect, a great waterfall. Excellent picnic spot.
Jordan Historical Museum of the Twenty
The museum includes a pioneer home and Victorian schoolhouse, and has exhibits. The Sampler Shop features an excellent variety of items of historic interest.
Winery Tours
Guests are offered free tours of Cave Spring Cellars. Learn about wine-making and browse our wine boutique. We can also suggest regional tours of other premium wineries.
