Vintage House

The Vintage House, a former bed and breakfast well-loved by visitors to Jordan for many years, is now a part of Inn on the Twenty. Major renovations in the house itself now offer improved services. As a stepping stone to Niagara Falls, Niagara on the the Lake, the Shaw Festival and, of course, Wine Country, Vintage House offers a lovely option.

Virtual Visit

Located beside Inn on the Twenty, this historic home provides a romantic, century home setting for two modest rooms. The gardens surrounding the Vintage House have a gazebo and a huge old plane tree: during common hours, the gardens are open to all guests for relaxation and conversation.

The historic Vintage House was built around 1840 and was a home to a number of Jordan's earliest families. It was later owned by the original Jordan Winery and served as a seasonal home for workers during harvest...hence the local name of the Vintage House. For some years, the property was a local museum. During these various incarnations, the wonderfully balanced "bones" of the house have survived in all of their Georgian taste and simplicity.

Newton Perry Suite

The two Vintage House Rooms each occupy half of the second storey, each room has a queen sized bed, full ensuite bathroom, a small sitting area for reading and four original windows for light lovers!

The above two rooms are decorated in a style befitting the fine colonial character of the house that, when built, was out in the woods! Each has a TV, coffeemaker and CD/Clock Radio.
